I recently read about how to leave reviews on Amazon purchases and save 80%, 90% or even 100%. THAT got my attention. The site was SnagShout.com, and here is a step by step review of my experience.

What is SnagShout?
SnagShout is a website designed to offer a vast array of Amazon products sold at deep discounts in exchange for a review. It does not include everyday household items like books, paper towels and clothing. But there are hundreds of quality products it does offer. You can browse the product list here, but to “snag” a product, you must create a free account.
Who is SnagShout’s primary audience?
Anyone who shops at Amazon. You will save more in shipping if you are an Amazon Prime member, but it is not required.
What are the PROS of using SnagShout?
I’ve consistently saved 85% or more on products that were useful (a memory foam pillow, a cell phone cover, a $1 tripod mount for a cell phone). These are well-made products at a fraction of the cost. Occasionally there are even items listed for FREE. I’ve never used any other review service before, but I have had zero problems with SnagShout.
What are the CONS of using SnagShout?
Falling into the trap of buying things you don’t need. Also, you can only “snag” one item at a time. Until you’ve submitted a review, you cannot snag another item. Also, you cannot give these items as gifts – since you agreed to review the product after using it.
Can you give a personal example?
YES. Dontae’s phone needed to be replaced, due to a bad battery. He replaced it with an iPhone 6, dreading the inevitable extra cost of a phone case. That’s when we thought to check SnagShout. Sure enough, there was a leather phone case for an iPhone 6. It also acted as a wallet.
AND IT WAS $5.00.
(The deals are timed, so this particular deal has expired.)
I’m not receiving any affiliate support for doing this review. I’ve just discovered a great new way to save a few dollars and wanted to share it with my readers.
Below is a video tutorial I created showing how I actually “snag” a product, then complete my purchase at the discounted price. Sorry it’s a little blurry. I’m still new at video editing.
